Information for Nurses

Getting Paid

Pay is weekly, on a Friday (for timesheets received by 1pm the previous Tuesday). Payment will be made by BACS, directly to your bank account.

Standard Nursing gives full support to those nurses wanting to work on a Self Employed basis. Our accounts team will help you to register as a Limited Company, and give support on how to invoice Standard Nursing with each timesheet. Self employed nurses are responsible for submitting their own tax returns to HMRC.

Under the Agency Worker Regulations, those nurses working in the same location for a consecutive period of over 12 weeks will be paid a holiday uplift. Depending on the specific Trust, this will be 12.07% or 15.56%. All Pay rates are inclusive of Holiday Pay
